COMSTECH Islamic Network on Virtual Universities (CINVU)

CINVU is an autonomous, non-political organization with an international approach and under the auspices of the Standing Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (COMSTECH). It works with the aim of achieving justice in the field of knowledge and thought and deepening and consolidating the learned and educational, research, cultural and skill empowerment of students, professors, universities and elites of the Islamic world.

CINVU is a bridge between students, professors and universities with an approach of sharing information and resources and supporting online learning methods based on online technology, which is networked with virtual universities in the Islamic world and other countries, as well as continuous communication with twelve networks. COMSTECH has provided a rich platform for achieving the wise and prudent goals of pure Islam in the fields of science, culture, management, economics, medicine, energy, and so on.

In April 2023, Dr. Shahinfar NKUMS Chancellor was appointed as the representative of CINVU in IRAN. June 2023, NKUMS Chancellor and CINVU Secretary-General signed a memorandum of understanding to collaborate in holding "The 1st International Congress on Sustainable Populatioan & Secure Future", hosted by NKUMS in Bojnourd, later this year.

Ghalib University, Afghanistan

 

Ghalib, the first private higher education institution in Herat, was upgraded to a university in 2015 and covers five faculties: "Medicine, Dentistry, Law and Political Science, Economics and Computer Science". 

Ghalib University delegation visited NKUMS in January 2023 and a memorandum of understanding was signed between Vice-Chancellors for Education of two parties. Collaborations moved forward and finally were put into action in June 2023 and the first online short course was held for the faculty members of medicine and dentistry faculties of Ghalib University.

The course was tailor made for Ghalib faculty members based on their needs and suggestions. Other courses are designed and will be run gradually.

Kardan Sharq Institute of Health Sciences

 

Kardan Sharq Instituite of Health Sciences has 6 majors in medical sciences that include:

Nursing, Midwifery, Medical Technology (3 years)

Pharmacy, Prosthodontics (2 years)

Anesthesiology (1 year)

Dr. Ishaqzi paid a visit to NKUMS in November 2022 and became familiar with the potentails of NKUMS in scientific, research, treatment and other areas.

NKUMS and Kardan Institute are fostering scientific cooperation and several courses are provided for students and faculty staff of this institute which will be run soon this summer.
