Eating zinc-containing foods helps the immune system function properly.

 

According to Webda, a faculty member of North Khorasan University of Medical Sciences and Nutrition Specialist said that: Zinc is found in foods such as meat, milk, beans, nuts and chicken, and its consumption, in addition to boosting the immune system, has a significant effect on wound healing.

Dr. Omid Toupcian noted: “Some other nutrients, such as vitamin B6, folate, selenium, iron and probiotics, also affect the immune response and make the body resistant to colds and other viruses.”

He added that Citrus fruits such as grapefruit, tangerine, orange, sweet and sour lemon, green and red peppers, broccoli, garlic, ginger, spinach, almonds, almonds, turmeric, green tea, kiwi, fish and turkey are recommended for prevention and treatment of colds and Influenza.

At the end, he recommended that “since nutrition is an effective factor in strengthening the immune system, plan your meals in such a way that these boosters are present.”
